Nusrat completes her graduation from North South University, Dhaka. It’s a reputed university in Bangladesh.
Nusrat Imrose Tisha got married in 2010 to the filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. They work together in the film industry. Farooki is a very creative filmmaker who creates films about our social issues.
In her personal life, she was very sincere and try to keep her privacy. Somehow Tisha able to manage her personal life and acting career at the same time.
Farooki and Tisha worked together on some films like Third Person Singular Number, Doob, Television directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki.
Her father is Enamul Hoque and her mother is Shaheen Mahfuja Hoque who is a housewife. Tisha has a sister but we don’t know her name. In 2010, she got married to Mostafa Sarwar Farooki. She stays with her husband in Dhaka.

Tisha works with legendary actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in ‘No Man’s Land’. This film was directed by Farooki A Burning Question also.
It is announced that she gets the role of Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib in her upcoming movie “Bangabandhu”. It is honored as an actress to be a part of this movie.

In 2005, she got her first nomination for Best tv actress. Then in 2008 and 2009, she was again nominated. Finally won her first Meril-Prothom Alo Award for Best TV Actress for ‘Graduate’ tv serial. She also gets the Critics Choice Award for Best TV Actress twice.
For the “Third Person Singular Number” movie, she got a nomination and won the best film actress. Her other film “Sonibar Bikal” was won two jury award in France.
Her film Doob: no Bed of Roses was selected for the Oscar race. As a talented actor, she won the national award for her acting career.
