Nusrat Imrose Tisha got married in 2010 to the filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. They work together in the film industry. Farooki is a very creative filmmaker who creates films about our social issues.

Nusrat started her acting journey in 1998 through Tv drama “Shat Prohorer Kabbo” scriptwriter Anonto Heera. In 2005, for the first time, she was nominated for ‘Otopor Nurul Huda’ drama the Meril Prothom Alo Award for Best Tv Actress.
Besides she did many tv dramas like 420, graduate, Flashback, Bahattor ghonta, Nishi Kutum, Kotha Deya ache, Lovely wife, Bokul kotha, Trap, Angels, Sikandar Box-er Hawai Gari, Pori O Panir Botol and so on.
Nusra did some different work such as “Mukh O Mukhosher Golpo” “Sada Megher Mon” “Nishi Kutum”, “The Mirror, Parul Lota, Gorbhodharini” and so on. Those dramas are based on a different story.
Some recent dramas are Holudboni, Uthan, Half Honeymoon, #Me Too. #Me Too drama based on a true story where a university girl harasses by her teacher.

Not only an actor but also a model. She starts her career as an actor but she did modeling for magazine, Tv commercials.

Tisha works with legendary actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in ‘No Man’s Land’. This film was directed by Farooki A Burning Question also.

It is announced that she gets the role of Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib in her upcoming movie “Bangabandhu”. It is honored as an actress to be a part of this movie.
