Nipsey Hussle’s Other Activities
Nipsey Hussle is also known as a community activist from Los Angeles. Hussle was shot and killed outside his store, Marathon Clothing, on March 31, 2019.
In addition to his musical career, Hussle was also heavily involved in several other activities.
He was a member of the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, one of the largest African-American street gangs in Los Angeles.
Moreover, he also owned several businesses in the Crenshaw neighborhood, including a barbershop and a clothing store.
Hussle was a strong advocate for peace and non-violence in his community. He was often seen handing out free food and clothing to those in need.
Most importantly, he regularly spoke out against gang violence.
In an interview with Power 106, Hussle said that he was working on a documentary about gang violence in Los Angeles.
“I just feel like people need to see both sides of the story,” Hussle said. “

Community work gave him different recognition. He wanted to end the violence through his work.
You know, a lot of times in the media, they just show one side, which is the gang-banging and the killing and all that, but they don’t show the why.
They don’t show the circumstances that led to that.” Hussle was also working on several other projects at the time of his death.
He was in the process of opening up a co-working space for entrepreneurs in South Los Angeles, and he was also working on a new album.
Hussle’s death has left the community of South Los Angeles reeling.
His funeral was held at the Staples Center, and his memorial service drew a crowd of over 25,000 people.
In the days since his death, several murals and memorials have been erected in Hussle’s honor.
