She also said, “I was born in Saint James.” So it would seem Nicki Minaj is not British after all! In a recent interview with GQ, the singer revealed that she is in fact from Trinidad and Tobago.
This isn’t a surprise to people who have followed her music career closely over the years; where Nicki was born has always been an open secret. But for many of her fans, it’s come as news – London is one of their guesses at her birthplace.
