Introduction
War Within is an exciting new expansion to World of Warcraft that will surprise and excite players with its compelling story and new gameplay. In this expansion, players will find new quests, a changed world filled with new locations and events, and the opportunity to face new dangers. This update brings us back to the Nerubian race for the first time since Wrath of the Lich King.
Main antagonist
Xal’atath in the old expansions
Xal’atath will be the main antagonist of the new WoW expansion. The first time players could see her in the Legion add-on as a locked entity inside the blade, which remained with the player throughout all Legion’s events. After that, she disappeared. The second encounter came in Battle for Azeroth when players found her at Collector Kojo. After this, the players with Xal’atath followed the trail of the High Elf Inanis, who wanted to subjugate the power of the Void Stone, but unsuccessfully. After the defeat, Inanis’ body became a new home for the entity. In the end, after collecting the relics, Xal’atath deceives the players in exchange for his freedom and independence from the blade. After that, she disappears.
Xal’atath in the new expansion
In the new expansion, Xal’atath does not have enough troops to carry out her plans, but she formed an union with Nerubians which help her implement plans. Alleria Windrunner will be the second important character in the new story. She will lead the resistance that will be directed against Xalatat. She must try to maintain a balance between her true nature and the call of the Void, which is the source of her dark strength.
Nerubian race.
Nerubians are one of the important races in the new expansion The War Within. If before they were quite rare, this time we can assume that most of the content will be related with them.
Background of the Nerubians.
Most of the Nerubians were in the northern part of Azeroth in Azjol-Nerub, but they had to fight with the Lich King (Nerzhul). In the beginning, they won the confrontation by capturing important points in Northrend using an underground tunnel system, but in the long run, they were defeated. Nerubians are immune to the undead plague, but after their death, Nerzhul managed to turn them into his servants, which played an important role in the war. The main part of the Nerubians were killed and turned into servants of the Scourge, but some were able to leave those lands and create new kingdoms. One of these is Azj-kahet
Azj-kahet
This is a new location that will appear in the new addition. Interestingly, the developers call it the Last Kingdom. Xal’atath has allied with this kingdom whose leader is Ansurek queen.
Capital of Azj-kahet
There is a city called the City of Threads. The city has a vertical structure where, over the course of several centuries, houses were built higher than each other. It can be assumed that the closer the Nerubians lived to the queen, the higher their status and importance in the kingdom.
Nerubians in the War Within update.
The special feature of the new Nerubians will be their new abilities and new appearance. Xal’atath gave the Nerubians access to dark evolutions. This means that players will gain new experience in battles with opponents of this race. Azj-kahet fights Arathi of Hallowfall, but without much success. This factor marked the beginning of the union of Darkness and the Nerubians.
Suspicious things
The Nerubians collect the black blood of the Old Gods, which seeps into the depths of the world of Azeroth. We cannot know why they do this, but the blood of the Old Gods has enormous power and can revive or restore a God-like creature. If this turns out to be true, then not all Nerubians will be happy from this outcome, so you will have the opportunity to make allies in a new location.
Nerub’ar Palace
Nerub’ar Palace will be the first raid in the new expansion. It will be the culmination of a story of the Nerubian Empire and Queen Ansurek’s collaboration with Xal’atat The entrance to the raid will be located in the central part of the kingdom Azj-kahet. There will be 8 bosses, and each of them will have unique mechanics and different phases. At the moment we don’t have enough information about the bosses, but we can say for sure that Queen Ansurek will be one of them. It can be assumed that the bosses will be the nerubians closest to the queen, but this information has no confirmation. If you look at the top-down and side view of the raid, you will notice changes in the architecture of the raid compared to others. Like the Nerubian city itself, the raid has more vertical progression, which will force players to move not only between different branching rooms, but also go down and up to some bosses. The new raid will have new loot, and item-level gear will exceed 500+ on some difficulties.
Nerub’ar Palace boosting in the future
Although a new expansion War Within has not been released yet, but as in previous additions, boost services will be able to help you complete new content. Nerubar Palace boost will help you in any situation, starting from receiving full gear and ending with killing bosses. if new rewards for completing the raid and loot from bosses are announced, then you can also order their boost, saving your time and effort.
Conclusion:
The new Nerub’ar Palace raid promises to be a challenge for groups of players, and we look forward to diving into this exciting adventure. It is unknown what secrets hide in the black blood of the Old Gods, and what dangers await us on this journey, but one thing is for sure – War Within promises to be fun and exciting for all fans of World of Warcraft.”
