Montana first gained popularity in 2010 with his debut mixtape, “Cocaine City Vol. 1”. The mixtape featured the song “Choppa Choppa Down”, which was remixed by rapper Waka Flocka Flame. The remix helped to boost the popularity of the mixtape. It eventually led to a record deal with Akon’s label, Konvict Muzik.

However, Montana’s debut album, “Excuse My French”, was released in 2013. The album featured the single “Ain’t Worried About Nothin'”, which became a top 40 hit in the United States.  

Moreover, French Montana has continued to release music over the years. He has also collaborated with a number of other artists, including Drake, Cardi B, and Post Malone. In 2018, he released his second studio album, “Montana”.

French Montana was born in 1984 in Morocco. He and his family moved to the United States when he was 13 years old and settled in New York City. 

Then Montana began his career as a rapper in 2002 and was signed to Akon’s record label in 2007. He rose to fame with his debut album Excuse My French, which was released in 2013. 

He has since released two more albums and has collaborated with numerous other artists.
